Daish's Group is and remains a family run business that takes its name from our first property, purchased in 1979, the Daish’s Hotel in Shanklin on the Isle of Wight. Daish's Hotel was the original coaching inn for Shanklin and formerly the family home of the Daish Family. It was here that the values now associated with the Daish’s name - comfortable accommodation, good food, great entertainment and courteous service - were born.

Dedication to providing quality, value for money holidays is now a firm part of the Daish’s brand, helping to ensure that we continue to be at the forefront of the UK seaside resort holiday market for many years to come.

Our head office based in Torquay will organise your hotel booking. (We also run our own coach tours from here, and our self-drive guests are welcome to join any of the regular excursions we offer from each of the hotels)

One of the reasons many of our guests return to our hotels year after year is our fanctastic live entertainment. Every single night we present a live act. Whether its's the 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s or 2000s, your musical taste will be catered for. What's more, each of our hotels has its own dance floor, so if you're in the mood for dancing, grab a partner and come on down! And of course our ever popular Bingo is readily available!

We are renowned for our fun theme breaks which run for several months throughout the year:-

TINSEL & TURKEY ~ NOVEMBER TO DECEMBER (OCTOBER also in SHANKLIN ONLY)

This fun, festive itinerary sees the hotels decked out in Christmas decorations and the staff in festive fancy dress. With seasonal fayre, mince pies, crackers and even a special visit from Santa!

AROUND THE WORLD ~ JANUARY TO EASTER 2010 

This popular "international" theme features decorations and memorabilia from countries from around the world, such as Austalia, Hawaii, Ireland  and Greece. We still offer a choice of traditional English food or a more authentic dish from each country for the more adventurous
